Privacy Policy

1. What we receive and why

• Your birth date, calendar type (Gregorian or lunar), birth time (optional), gender and city of birth.
• For reunion compatibility and love match: the same details for the other person, and, for reunion only, optionally when you parted.
• For Bias Match: only your own details and the idol you pick. The idol's birthday comes from our list of public birthdays.
• For the daily fortune and the life reading: your device's time zone setting (for example “America/New_York”), so that “today” (and “this year”) matches your own calendar. It is used only to pick the date and is not saved.
• We use them only to calculate the chart and show you the reading on screen. Legal basis (GDPR): providing the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)).

2. How long we keep it

• Nothing is saved on our servers. Your details are used while the reading is calculated and then discarded.
• If you tick “Remember my details on this device”, your own details are saved only in this browser (local storage). Clearing your browser data removes them.
• The other person's details are never saved, even if you tick “remember”.
• The match share image is made on your own device and never sent to our servers. The image and the invite link show only your score and birthday types, never birth dates or names. The Bias Match image also shows the stage name of the idol you picked.

3. The other person's details

The birth details you enter for someone else are their personal information. We do not keep them. Please use the reading for reflection only, and respect that person's wishes.

4. Service providers and international transfers

• Vercel Inc. (USA): hosting and calculation, processed on servers in Seoul, South Korea. Birth details are not stored.
• PostHog Inc. (USA): usage analytics, only the data described in section 5, on servers in the United States.
• Like any website, our host may briefly keep technical access logs (time, IP address) for security and operations. Your birth details are not written to these logs.
• These providers transfer data across borders under their own safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Analytics

• To improve the service we record which pages are opened and which buttons are pressed (for example “viewed reunion result”).
• Sent with each event: the referring site or campaign tag (e.g. ?from=x), screen width, time, language of the page, and a random ID stored in your browser. For Bias Match, the group of the idol you picked (for example “bts”).
• If you press a “Comment on” button in the feedback box on a result page, we record which network you picked (Instagram, Threads or X) and which page it was. Your comment is posted publicly on that network under its own policies. We never receive or store what you write there.
• We never send birth dates, birth times, names or the other person's details. We do not record your screen.
• If your device is set to a European time zone, we ask before any analytics are collected (legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Elsewhere, analytics run by default under our legitimate interest in improving the service, and you can turn them off below at any time.
• We honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, no analytics are collected.
• Retention: one year from collection. Clearing your browser data also removes the random ID.

7. Browser storage we use

• rw:my-birth — your own details, only if you choose “remember”.
• rw:anon-id — the random analytics ID (not created if analytics are off).
• rw:consent — your analytics choice.
• rw:from-channel — the network you arrived from (Instagram, Threads or X), so the feedback box can show that button first. Kept only for this visit (session storage) and never sent to us.

We use no advertising cookies.

8. No selling or sharing for advertising

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are used in California and other U.S. state privacy laws).

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we keep no birth details on our servers, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve; data in your browser can be removed by you at any time. For any request, write to sy3526@gmail.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

10. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 16. Please do not use it if you are under 16.
