About Rocky Saju
What we are
Rocky Saju is a mobile-first website for K-SaJu (Korean astrology). You enter your birth date, time and city, and we turn that moment into your eight characters and explain them in plain English. You can try Reunion chances, a love match, your life reading and a daily fortune. We're in a free beta right now.
Charts are calculated, not guessed
- Your eight characters, elements and 10-year chapters come from fixed rules in our code. The same birth details always give the same chart.
- The year changes at the start of spring (around February 4) and months change at solar markers. Births outside Korea use that city's time zone history and local sun time.
- Our reading rules follow what the classic K-SaJu textbooks agree on. Where sources differ, we use the most widely accepted reading.
- Before each release, we check our math against an astronomy-based reference on thousands of random birth dates.
How we write readings
- Readings are told by Wolha, the Moonlit Matchmaker, and Byeolha, the Star Reader, two characters we created for this site.
- We never promise a reunion, and we never use fear or pressure to sell. We never suggest contacting someone who has asked for space.
- We don't make claims about health, law or money decisions. Every reading is for fun and reflection.
Your birth details
- We use your birth details only to calculate your chart. We don't store them on our servers.
- If you tick "Remember my details on this device", only your own details are saved, in this device's browser.
- We never store the other person's details from a match.
- The full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
